About Mocktails & Cocktails

Mocktails & Cocktails started at a holiday party. The host had made a gorgeous cranberry cocktail for everyone, and for the three guests who weren't drinking (one pregnant, one driving, one who simply didn't want to) there was a jug of orange juice. They noticed. Everyone noticed.

So we built the site around one promise: every drink, two ways. Every recipe here has a spirited version and a zero-proof twin on the same card, one tap apart. The twin isn't the cocktail with the vodka left out. It's rebuilt, with the acidity, bitterness, body, and garnish that make a drink feel like a drink.

Our promises

• Balanced, tested specs. Classics follow their standard recipes; our own drinks follow proven ratios. If a number looks odd, tell us.
• Honest strength labels. The Light / Medium / Strong badge on each card is calculated from the actual pour and the dilution from ice, not guessed.
• Zero-proof that's actually zero. We label when a mocktail uses non-alcoholic products that can contain up to 0.5% ABV, so you can choose 0.0% when it matters.
• Batch math done for you. Scale any card to a pitcher or punch bowl and it tells you exactly how much water to add for dilution.
